The Director of Manufacturing is responsible for leading and overseeing all manufacturing operations to ensure operational excellence, cost efficiency, and product quality. This role will drive strategic initiatives across production, process optimization, capacity planning, and continuous improvement, while ensuring alignment with Client's global standards and business objectives. The Director will play a critical role in scaling operations, building high-performing teams, and supporting business growth. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations, including production, engineering, quality, and maintenance functions. Develop and execute manufacturing strategies to support business growth, operational scalability, and cost optimization. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and best-in-class manufacturing practices. Ensure compliance with quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001), safety regulations (OSHA), and internal policies. Oversee capacity planning, production scheduling, and resource allocation to meet customer demand and delivery targets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, HR) to drive operational alignment. Lead and develop high-performing teams, including hiring, coaching, and performance management. Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, efficiency, cost, and on-time delivery. Oversee capital planning (CAPEX), equipment investments, and facility optimization initiatives. Partner with global stakeholders to ensure standardization and alignment with corporate manufacturing strategies. Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across all operations. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field);Master's degree or MBA preferred. 15 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in electronics, EMS, or high-volume production environments. 8-10 years of leadership experience managing large, cross-functional manufacturing teams. Proven track record of driving operational excellence, cost reduction, and process improvements. Proven experience in greenfield or expansion environments, including establishing manufacturing processes, infrastructure, and teams to support successful operational launch and scale. Strong expertise in: Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies Production planning, capacity scaling, and plant operations management Quality systems and regulatory compliance (IATF 16949 / ISO 9001) Experience leading start-up, expansion, or transformation of manufacturing operations is highly preferred. Strong financial acumen, including budget management, cost control, and ROI analysis for capital investments. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, global, matrixed environment. Key Leadership Attributes: Strategic thinker with strong execution capability.
