EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY City of Lincoln City-Public Works Building Maintenance Worker $26.58 - $33.94 per hour Non-Exempt/ AFSCME Union, Grade 08 OPEN UNTIL FILLED Application Deadline: June 12, 2026 Lincoln City has a great opportunity as a full-time Building Maintenance Worker with Public Works in the Facilities Division! This position will perform a variety of functions including routine custodial and building maintenance of City-owned buildings, grounds, and landscaping. Questions about recruitment should be directed to: Nia Graham, Human Resources Supervisor ngraham@lincolncity.org 541-557-1139 JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: High School education or equivalent and at least two years experience in performing building maintenance and custodial duties, or any satisfactory combination of experience and training that demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the above duties. Considerable knowledge of equipment, materials and methods used in routine custodial and semi-skilled facilities maintenance work e.g. plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, sprinkler systems, landscaping equipment etc., and related safety precautions. Knowledge of hazards associated with supplies and equipment used in performing the duties of the position. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/ LICENSES: Possession of valid drivers license. Must also possess a current CPR/ First Aid card or the ability to obtain one within six months of appointment and the ability to maintain one throughout employment. Must qualify for Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Certification to perform work at the Police Department facilities. DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS: Specialized training and experience in facilities maintenance methods and techniques.
