In this role, you will support a variety of initiatives in connection with the City's Digital Strategic Plan, the Berkeley Resilience Strategy, and other long-term goals. See the full job class specification here: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS A typical way of gaining the knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position is:Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college, with major coursework preferably in information technology, computer science, network engineering, mathematics, business or public administration, or a field related to the department to which assigned, and two (2) years of experience in managing and supporting IT systems or network infrastructure. Experience in technical support, managing networks, or other relevant information technology work may be substituted for the education on a year-for-year basis. Must be able to travel to various locations within and outside the City of Berkeley to meet program needs and to fulfill the job responsibilities. When driving on City business, the incumbent is required to maintain a valid California driver's license as well as a satisfactory driving record.
