Patient access staff ensure that patients can efficiently navigate administrative processes while maintaining data accuracy and enhancing the patient experience. Spends majority of time leading the design, implementation or delivery of processes, programs and policies using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education (typically University). May influence others regarding policies, practices, and procedures. May have project management responsibilities on small, less-complex projects. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Education: Bachelor’s degree in related healthcare or business area required. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, a minimum of four years of successful experience with the One Team | United on Access project at UVA Health may be considered. Master’s degree preferred. Experience: Minimum three (3) years experience in healthcare setting, and in Access preferred. Licensure: None.
