The Pharmacy Buyer oversees department purchasing and billing processes and assists with quality functions for regulatory requirements. Purchasing: Places daily orders for pharmaceuticals and supplies in sufficient quantities to meet department needs and monitors for contract compliance. Billing: Oversees department billing processes and charge corrections. Quality: Ensures regulatory compliance by coordinating quality functions and maintaining accurate documentation. Automation: Competent in automation related equipment and procedures and manages issues and maintenance. License: Must hold a National Pharmacy Technician certificate and be registered with the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy. Minimum Work Experience: Two years of experience as a pharmacy technician in a hospital pharmacy-Required. More about Highpoint Health – Sumner with Ascension Saint Thomas.
