THE JOB:As a Room Service Manager at The Cosmopolitan, you will oversee the daily operations of the in-room dining experience, ensuring exceptional service and seamless execution. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us. THE DAY-TO-DAY:Provide leadership in the development and monitoring of fiscal budgets, division operations, and marketing strategies toto produce both short term and long-term profitability. Provide leadership and direction in the development, execution and measurement of guest service standards within the division consistent with the companys core service standards and brand attributes. Establish a positive rapport with guest and comply with all requests and meet guest expectations to build a positive reputation and return business. Work closely with the Executive Chef; ensure the guests special culinary requests are met. Respond to unusual events or circumstances requiring high-level management attention and inform the VP and Executive Director of Food and Beverage of situations requiring his/her attentionTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE:College education in a related field, and /or 2 Years of prior relevant experience in Food and Beverage required. Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required. Previous experience working in a similar luxury resort setting preferred.
