The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for all daily operations such as loading/shipping; unloading/receiving; staging; warehouse cleaning; conduct cycle counts for all the cargos that we receive at our Panasonic Logistics Solutions America Inc. warehouse Job Functions: Understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures related to the operation of the warehouse and the site Loading and unloading of trucks using forklift and pallet jack in a timely and accurate manner to satisfy internal procedures and external customer needs Complete records of receipts and reconcile received materials by checking packing lists against physical product Prepare and complete orders for pickup according to schedule (load,wrap, label, ship) Receive and inspect incoming packages for damages and piece count Ability to utilize RF scanners to electronically perform warehouse activities Perform physical inventories Provide photos and damage report to shipping and receiving clerk Keep a clean and safe working environment; optimize space utilization Report any inventory discrepancies Follow rules and regulations Basic computer skills Maintain a clean and safe warehouse by sweeping floors, removing obstacles from walkways, etc Open to placement in different warehouse roles (receiving, inventory, picking, shipping) to meet business needs Perform all tasks using defined job processes with a high level of accuracy with minimal supervision. Other tasks as needed. Qualifications Job Requirements: High school graduate and one (1) year experience in a warehousing operation; or any equivalent combination of education and experience Take pride in delivering excellent customer service Thrive in a busy, fast-paced warehouse environment Ability to work closely with others in a team environment Available to work a flexible schedule Must have good verbal communication skills to maintain effective working relationship with other employees and vendors QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
