The Bureau of Maternal, Child and Family Health is looking to fill a Health Planning Administrator 2 position to manage the Reproductive Health and Wellness and Sexual Risk reduction programs for Ohio Department of Health. Join a mission-driven team where you will lead impactful research, program planning, and statewide health initiatives that directly improve outcomes. Duties include:Lead statewide reproductive health and wellness programs including family planning and sexual risk reduction initiatives to improve health outcomes across Ohio. Develop and implement program policies, strategic plans, and performance measures to ensure compliance with federal and state requirements. Direct grant funded-programs, including oversight of budgets, funding opportunities, grant applications, reporting and program evaluation activities. Manage relationships with local providers, community partners, and stakeholders to support effective service delivery and program performance. Oversee program monitoring activities, including site visits, clinical reviews, expenditure tracking, and quality improvement initiatives. Provide leadership and supervision to program staff, including coaching, performance managements, employee development. Analyze program data and trends to support strategic planning, performance measurement, and evidence-based decision making. Serve as a primary liaison with federal agencies, state partners, healthcare organizations, and community stakeholders on program initiatives and compliance matters. Coordinate cross-functional projects, stakeholder meetings, and collaborative efforts to strengthen statewide public health services and outcomes. Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for leadership regarding program performance, emerging health trends and policy impacts. Monitor changes in federal and state laws, regulations and funding requirements to ensure program compliance and operational effectiveness.
