At Regions the Human Resources Call Center Specialist provides centralized human resource services spanning payroll, benefits, relations, compensation, and other transactions. Associates at this level will have working knowledge and skills developed through formal training or work experience. Primary Responsibilities. Interacts with customers via telephone to answer questions and provide assistance in the completion of human resource transactions. Answers inquiries by clarifying desired information; researching, locating, and providing information. Performs all work in accordance with established call/service center standards. Resolves problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions; escalating unresolved problems. This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Requirements High school diploma or GED - One (1) year experience in human resources or a high volume call service center A bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study may substitute for the experience. Preferences. Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field. Strong personal computer (PC) skills. Knowledge of Regions' benefits plans. Experience in Human Resources, preferably in a call service center environment. Skills and Competencies. Ability to handle high volume of customer calls while maintaining a positive attitude. Ability to multi-task in a high volume setting. Ability to work as part of a team. Customer focused. Interpersonal skills. Knowledge of general human resources practices. Problem solving skills. Strong communication skills (written, verbal and listening)This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations. Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense. This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience. Position Type. Full time. Compensation Details. Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
