To support efforts and ensure fidelity of implementation of the On. Ramps Physics courses and to coordinate a high-level of instructional and professional development service and support to On. Ramps Instructors, On. Ramps Students, and UT Faculty. Responsibilities. Supports On. Ramps Instructors in implementing courses with fidelity along the On. Ramps Four Pillars. Develops and maintains strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders by providing exceptional customer service, technical support, and problem-solving with professionalism, positivity, tact and decorum. Co-develops and implements annual professional learning institutes during Summer, Fall, and Spring for Onramps instructors in close collaboration with the Course Leads, On. Ramps Assistant Director, and Professional Learning and Development team to ensure and enhance course implementation aligned to the On. Ramps Four Pillars. Implements on-going professional development and learning activities through weekly communication, monthly virtual meetings, and professional learning institutes. Uses standardized relationship building strategies to cultivate and lead a facilitated network of On. Ramps Instructors. Develops and implements interventions for instructors with implementation challenges and those that are onboarded to On. Ramps after annual Summer Institutes and throughout the academic year. Including but not limited to virtual meetings, coaching support, creating video examples, video streaming into classes. Utilizes data to ensure fidelity of implementation of On. Ramps courses using data science methodologies, such as instructor engagement, pacing, and submissions. Supporting fidelity of implementation may include instructor resources in headquarters and investigations of academic integrity. Facilitates an instructor support system using mentor instructors and online platforms to provide extra support for new On. Ramps Instructors. Sustains a virtual community for our instructors across the state by utilizing online platforms and mentor instructors. Supports and engage in designated special projects as assigned that support the mission and strategic direction of On. Ramps as an organization. Required Qualifications. Bachelor’s degree in Physics, education, or related field. Demonstrated understanding of high school teaching and learning. Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to engage multiple internal and external stakeholders with decorum and tact. Three years teaching experience at a high school or college level. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Preferred Qualifications. Master’s degree in Physics, education, or related field. Experience providing support or instructional coaching to teachers. Proficient in Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) or another LMS. Proficient in Smartsheet or other Project Management system. Ability to communicate technical information to lay audiences using a respectful, client-focused approach. Five years teaching experience at a high school or college level. Salary Range$60,000 depending on qualifications.
