Work Type: Full-Time (40 Hours Per Week)We are seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our growing team serving apartment communities throughout the Atlanta, Georgia area. This position requires a motivated professional with strong apartment maintenance experience who is willing to work across multiple properties as needed and participate in an on-call rotation to handle emergency maintenance situations. On-Call Requirement. This position requires availability for on-call duties, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to respond to maintenance emergencies as needed. Additional Compensation:$60/month mobile phone allowance. Opportunities for overtime and emergency call compensation. Key Responsibilities. Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance on apartment communities. Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including PTAC units. Complete plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general maintenance repairs. Respond promptly to resident service requests and maintenance emergencies. Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of common areas and property grounds. Troubleshoot maintenance issues and implement effective solutions. Assist with unit turns, inspections, and make-ready processes. Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and local building codes. Travel between multiple properties as needed to support maintenance operations. Qualifications. Minimum of 2 years of apartment maintenance experience required. Strong HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience required. Experience servicing and repairing PTAC units required. Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and general building maintenance. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required. Must be dependable and available for emergency on-call service. EPA Certification and HVAC certifications preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Physical Requirements. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks.
