Through DRMP’s college internship opportunity, students will gain practical experience while earning an engineering degree and exploring a potential career path in Engineering. Several of our current engineers and a few Vice Presidents got their start at DRMP as interns. Assist in designing stormwater infrastructure such as detention/retention basins, storm sewers, and green infrastructure solutions. Assist with site assessments and data collection for Stormwater management projects. Conduct basic engineering calculations and analyses under supervision. Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, reports, specifications, and cost estimates for stormwater projects and presentations. Learn and apply regulatory requirements related to Stormwater management. Currently enrolled in a Bachelors of Science degree program in Civil Engineering at an ABET-accredited university. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines. Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment. Valid driver’s license with approved/acceptable driving history. Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software.
