In this role, you’ll make a lasting impact - helping create safer roads by confidently guiding students of all ages through positive, professional instruction. Hourly Pay: $24.50/hour - $26.00/hour. Schedule: 40 hours/week. Weekdays: Start between 11:30 am-1:00 pm, work an 8-hour/shift. Weekends: Minimum one day, starting as early as 7:00 am for an 8-hour shift. What You’ll DoDeliver behind-the-wheel instruction to students of varying ages and experience levels, following AAA’s curriculum and training standards. Use our driving school software to track and manage student progress. Assess student performance and provide personalized guidance. Stay current on safe and defensive driving practices and maintain all required state documentation. Travel within a 50-mile radius as needed; a company vehicle with paid gas, maintenance, and insurance is provided. What You’ll Bring. Experience in driving instruction, education, or the automotive industry. Confidence working with the public, especially teens. A strong commitment to promoting safe driving habits. Flexibility to accommodate student schedules, including weekday afternoons and at least one weekend day. Physical ability to sit for extended periods, hear and see in all weather conditions, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs. Must be capable of safely assuming control of the vehicle from the passenger seat during instruction or emergency situations. Requirements. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Minimum of 5 years of driving experience. Must obtain state-issued Driving School Instructor license, which includes passing a DMV-required physical exam. Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening The starting pay range for this position is $24.50 – $26.00 per hour. Additionally, after completion of your first year in the role, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon your team and individual performance.
