Safely operate a sit-down powered industrial truck (PIT);Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments, and prepare items for shipment;Load and unload trailers;Complete pre-start PIT maintenance inspection report;Follow proper trailer loading and unloading lock-out/tag-out procedure;Complete receiving report to accurately record materials received;Submit receiving reports after trailer is unloaded;Complete load sheet to accurately record the grades, bale count, loading start/stop times for finished goods on outbound shipments;Complete and submit load sheet at completion of shipment;Understand and follow load pattern according to trailer, railcart. Follow all safety rules and practices at all times; and. Perform other duties as assigned by supervision. The Skills You Will Bring:Minimum of 2 years PIT experience. Previous PIT operating experience in an industrial manufacturing or other labor intensive work experience is required. A background as an order picker is preferred. Corrugated industry manufacturing environment preferred. Know what a monotrol pedal is and how it operates. Be able to multitask in a very fast-paced environment. Be computer literate and effectively use scanning equipment and arranging for the transportation of products. The ability to learn; and the ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team. Must successfully pass employer test
