Leaders in this job are responsible for the daily management and leadership of a solar and storage generation facility. Individuals are responsible for the overall safe and reliable operation of the solar and storage site. Job Duties & Responsibilities Ensures compliance to all Power Generation Division (PGD) operational model processes Leads by example and emulates the PGD shared values Ensures all business activities are conducted following corporate policies and are in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal permits, codes, standards, and regulations Analyzes and identifies the root cause of - and implements comprehensive technical solutions to - complex application deficiencies and system issues Acts as technical liaison to individuals within and outside the organization with responsibility to act independently regarding technical matters pertaining to individual's field Develops new (and improves existing) processes with goal of increasing productivity, reducing risk of system failure, promoting efficiency in work flow, and meeting or exceeding the key operational performance targets Monitors, controls, and forecasts plant budgets and ensures compliance with all contractual obligations Maintains all company supplied equipment, facilities, and tooling Completes reports and paperwork and uses computer based applications Performs other job-related duties as assigned Required Qualifications Bachelor's - Engineering Experience: 2 years Leadership Experience: 0 years Valid Driver's License (NON CDL) Preferred Qualifications None NextEra Energy offers a wide range of benefits to support our employees and their eligible family members.
