To perform technical computer aided drafting and design (CADD) in support of facility related projects. Create closed boundary polylines for space planning, facility management, or building area calculations and/or chargebacks.
Job Duties
STATEMENT OF ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES - Provides assistance in interpreting floor plans, entering polyline data using AutoCAD and interfacing with Facilities computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Supports the entry, coding, and organization of data, including typing tabular information or the CMMS database. Helps modify and edit AutoCAD drawings in accordance with established specifications and procedures. Contributes to the preparation reports and related materials, as assigned. Supports operation of computer equipment and software as required. Aids in preparing documents and procedures and maintains records of completed assignments. STATEMENT OF OTHER JOB DUTIES - Performs related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
An Associate of Arts degree or certificate in Computer-Aided Drafting (CADD), proficiency in 2 D AutoCAD software and strong attention to detail. Key requirements include understanding drafting standards, basic technical drawing skills, and 150 hours of software experience OR any combination of training and or experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Proficiency in data management and automation skills is desired. The employee should also have working knowledge of AutoCAD software and Microsoft Office. Some experience with GIS and SQL is desired.

SUPERVISION Employee will receive direction from a Facilities and Fleet Management professional as assigned. Assignments are made indicating generally what is to be done, the quantity of work expected, and any deadlines which are required to be met. WORKING CONDITIONS The work is performed in the usual office environment.
