As a Software Development Engineer on the core experiences team, you will - Design and implement products that enable video service partners (Prime Video Channels, IM - Db TV, Twitch, etc) to surface & promote content as part of the 'Live TV' integrated experience. - Investigate, prototype, and deliver new and innovative software applications.- Deliver high quality software through working in a dynamic, team-focused Agile/ Scrum environment. Additionally, You will drive key engineering and business decisions that impact Amazons long-term vision, which includes rapid innovation in building better voice interfaces to the media and entertainment content that Fire TV customers love! We leverage technology in client-app frameworks, big data, machine learning, optimization techniques and high availability services. Basic Qualifications- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field- Experience programming with at least one software programming language. Preferred Qualifications- 3 years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
