As a Security Officer Screening Monitor in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.82 / Hour Job Schedule:Day. Time. Mon 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM - Tue 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM - Wed 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM - Thur 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM - Fri 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Screen individuals, vehicles, packages, and/or materials entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and security-related procedures. Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report findings to site leadership and/or local authorities as needed. Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain visitor and/or delivery logs to help support authorized entry and help to deter unauthorized access. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, screening areas, loading zones, and perimeter, with duties varying based on location conditions and operational needs. Minimum Requirements:Have at least 6 months of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
