Perform a variety of administrative tasks that require a high level of attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. Contact patients and/or clients to obtain pertinent demographic information. Responsible for performing administrative duties such as data entry and database/log maintenance. Work with the Genetic Counseling team to manage results to be reported to patients through an innovative approach to providing genetic testing results. Responsible for obtaining and distributing results to genetic counselors and ensuring that all results are distributed daily for reporting to patients. Communicate with clients regarding patients whose genetic counselors were unable to reach. Minimum Qualifications: Associates degree with 1 or more years experience in the healthcare industry such as a hospital or physician's office OR Bachelors degree with no previous experience. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, or Genetics 1 or more years experience working in a clinical genetics laboratory 1 or more years experience working as a Genetic Counselor Assistant. Additional Job Standards: Familiarity with genetic concepts. Strong computer skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite. Strong multi-tasking ability with excellent attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent ability to listen and respond effectively. Strong flexibility and the ability to manage and adapt to changing priorities quickly. Strong project management skills. Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with others and work cooperatively and effectively to set goals, resolve problems and make recommendations Application Window Closes: 6/8/2026 - - Pay Range: $26.50 - $32.25/hour. All job offers will be based on a candidates skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
