Schedule: 40-hour, Rotating Day/ Eve, 12-hour/8-hour shift position with every other weekend and holiday rotation. It is a multidisciplinary, full service, therapeutic environment with an eclectic approach. It offers intensive individual, group, family, activity, occupational, and somatic therapies. Certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers required. A minimum of one-year inpatient psychiatry required. The RN candidate has demonstrated an ability to work compassionately with persons who experience behavioral health issues on a secure inpatient psychiatric unit. Adheres to all I C. A. R. E. standards. Must show evidence of the basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients. Demonstrate observational skills and the ability to set priorities. Ability to function under stress with good interpersonal and communication skills.
