No weekends. Job Description:Ensures psycho, social, spiritual and bereavement counseling for hospice as well as the provision of volunteers. Plays a key role in the interdisciplinary team for Home Health and Hospice. Principle Responsibilities. Oversees a team of volunteer coordinators, social workers and chaplains for Home Health and Hospice. Conducts ongoing coaching, assessment, training and education of staff. Supports recruitment, interviewing, hiring and onboarding process. Holds volunteers and employees accountable for role responsibilities, competencies, individual performance and goals. Maintains scheduling, time off approval and timecard sign-off. Maintains optimal staffing. Oversees the work of the bereavement department that arranges support groups, counseling, community education and more. Oversees Integrative Therapies Department including Massage Therapy and Music Therapy. Works with computer systems to include an electronic medical record and a volunteer services system. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications. Master's degree in Social Work 5 years home care and hospice experience 3 years leadership and supervisory management experience. Licenses/ Certifications. Licensed Social Worker - MN Board of Social Work. Valid Driver’s License required upon hire - MN and WI residents must obtain a valid driver’s license in their state of residence within 60 days of employment.
