Job Duties: - Serves under the direction of the ORAS Program Administrators as Case Analyst for the Quality Assurance of the Ohio Risk Assessment System (ORAS). - Provides continual ORAS technical assistance and coaching to identified staff. - Identifies regional training needs in the area of ORAS. - Serves as Subject Matter Expert for ORAS. - Makes recommendations to ORAS Program Administrators concerning modifications of policies and procedures. - Acts independently and makes recommendations when necessary to effect change. - Prepares and reviews publications, reports, and documents. - Serves as lead for assigned APA region ORAS quality assurance to include but not limited to evaluating the effectiveness of staff interviews, scoring of ORAS and case planning. - Promotes development and integration of ORAS in the region. - Develops and maintains data and records. - Creates monthly statistical reports - Provides guidance to Unit Supervisors, Senior Parole Officers, and Parole Officers related to ORAS. - Assists with ORAS training, coaching and quality assurance for the ODRC Institutions and Community agencies as needed. - Participates in community interaction meetings, advisory boards, committees, and teams. - Develops and maintains community relations through partnerships and cross training with other agencies. - May participate in internal management audits and serve on the Bureau of Internal Standards and Compliance audit team. - Provides quality assurance on ODRC led Evidence Based initiatives. - Monitors quality of reports and services delivered by field staff through use of management information systems, data, and direct observations. - Identifies training needs in area of case planning, interview skills, and evidence-based practices. - Provides assistance and coaching to identified staff on case planning, interview skills, and evidence-based practices. - Provides guidance to Unit Supervisors, Senior Parole Officers, and Parole Officers related to case planning, interview skills, and evidence-based practices. - Attends trainings to maintain SME status and/or certifications in ORAS, case planning, interview skills, and any agency promoted evidence-based practices. - Completes special assignments as directed by the ORAS Program Administrators. - Attends meetings, conferences, trainings; may give presentations and conduct training. Must conduct themselves professionally, and in a law-abiding manner, at all times and in accordance with Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction Standards of Employee Conduct.
