At Regions, the Loan Servicing and Customer Service Specialist performs a variety of operational tasks within Loan Servicing which may include special servicing, loan workout, investor relations, and loan operations. This position is formally trained to provide customer service back up support when call volumes are high. During those peak times, this position will also respond to customer’s inquiries or complaints regarding Loan Servicing products or services. Primary Responsibilities. Receives and reviews incoming work, contacting appropriate resources as needed. Reviews loan documentation for accuracy. Completes validation of loan documentation, reports, and/or systems. Documents missing, incorrect, or incomplete documents and/or data. Performs data entry and/or enters loans into the appropriate systems. Resolves customer or associate inquiries as necessary and communicates when applicable. Prepares, edits, distributes, and/or corrects documents/reports. Researches and resolves loan related issues which may include missing payments, disputed accounts history requests and general loan related questions. Determines best method to resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies. Coordinates problem resolution with appropriate departments. Informs customers of standard procedures or resolution of problem. Works under general supervision following established guidelines and procedures. Ensures compliance with risk management programs, rules and regulations, and cybersecurity practices; identifies opportunities for and supports process improvements; applies disciplined change management practices. This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Requirements. High School Diploma or GED - Applicants will be expected to pass any assessment associated with the position. Preferences. One (1) year of banking or related work experience. Skills and Competencies. Ability to interpret and ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and industry guidance. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Data entry and typing skills. Excellent customer service skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Strong time management. Strong written and verbal communication skills. This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations. Flex opportunity following training. Training Hours:Monday-Friday 7:30-4:30 Shift hours:40 hours Monday-Friday between 7 am-6 pm. Position Type. Full time. Compensation Details. Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position. Job Range Target:Minimum:$33,975.00 USD - Median:$40,446.00 USD - Incentive Pay Plans:This job is not incentive eligible.
