The Parking Field Lead is responsible for leading a team of Field Service Workers in the cleaning, maintenance, and overall upkeep of Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) parking garages and parking lots. This role supports the manager in addressing service requests for PTS parking areas, conducting routine inspection of parking areas, and ensuring the completion of daily operational tasks and assignments. The Parking Field Lead may also be required to work evenings and weekends to support university events, including athletic events, commencement ceremonies, and other campus activities as needed. Duties & Responsibilities Directs the workflow of Field personnel performing cleaning and maintenance in the PTS parking areas. Inspects PTS buildings, garages, lots, and other PTS areas to make sure they are clean and in a working order. Drives a university vehicle daily across campus to inspect the work done in various garages and parking lots, delivers supplies and inspects condition of lots and garages. Submits PTS internal service requests as needed and supports manager with facilities management service requests. Assists with the operation and maintenance of PARCS equipment and LPR cameras in the parking garages. Recommends materials and equipment for PTS Field Section. Trains new employees on equipment operation, garage gate equipment, and cleaning PTS areas. Assists with documenting employee job performance and behavior. Coaches Field Personnel on job knowledge and performance; and encourages career development. Manages construction related parking around the university; reserving spaces, and creating invoices. Inspects, maintains, and schedules services for PTS field vehicles and golf carts. Perform other duties as assigned to meet the needs of PTS, the university and our customers. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):Strong customer service skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Supervisory and management skills, including the ability to plan and organize effectively, as well as train and mentor new employees. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or high school diploma equivalency is required. Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy. Preferred Qualifications Two or more years working in the parking industry with supervisory experience.
