The wealth management Administrative Associate supports Financial Advisors (LPL Financial Registered Representatives) to increase productivity, ensure smooth operations, and enhance client satisfaction. They handle routine client requests, research information pertaining to securities transaction requests, assist with account maintenance, and providing administrative support. Essential Functions: Supports the production of Financial Advisors by setting appointments, answering customers questions as well as performing tasks of a clerical and/or administrative nature, including but not limited to, handling new account paperwork, entering customer information into a form or database, and maintaining an FINRA Compliant filing system Provides the customer with specific product information, research information or any other such information pertaining to securities transactions in which the customer wishes to perform, or is considering performing, through LPL Financial Advises customers as to the status of orders or report trade prices to customers Handles customer funds and securities, including electronic fund transfers or journals from a customer’s self-advisory account Reports To: VP Wealth Management Manages: This role does not have supervisory responsibility. Required Skills, Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to speak and present information clearly, concisely, and effectively to both customers and key stakeholders. Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills Comfortable managing sensitive or confidential information Strong organization skills and the ability to manage multiple processes and priorities and deliver assignments on time in a dynamic environment Practices high quality service standards in all interactions with customers, prospective customers and personnel in other departments within the credit union Adheres to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations governing the Credit Union, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Preferred Skills, Education and Experience Advanced degree in related field Two years’ experience in the financial industry
