An asphalt worker is a construction professional who builds and maintains roads, driveways, and other paved surfaces by laying, spreading, and compacting asphalt materials to ensure a smooth, durable finish. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Perform asphalt paving, patching, and repair work on roads, parking lots, and surfaces Operate paving equipment, rollers, skid steers, and other heavy machinery Rake, spread, and smooth asphalt to proper grade and finish Assist with site prep including grading, leveling, and compaction Follow project plans, blueprints, and grade stakes Ensure proper temperature handling and application of asphalt materials Maintain tools and equipment in working condition Follow all OSHA and jobsite safety standards ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Asphalt Work Asphalt Patching Paving, Striping, Excavating, Dump Truck Hauling Concrete Work: Sidewalks, Curbs, Driveways, Emergency Pot Holes, Snow Removal QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
