Who You Are: The Corporate Paralegal (Corporate/ Litigation/ Employment Law) is a key member of the Legal Department, working closely with QTS business stakeholders and legal team members to support a wide range of legal matters. This role is vital to the department’s overall effectiveness and success. The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent organizational abilities. This individual demonstrates initiative, sound judgment, and creative problem-solving to deliver high-quality legal support across QTS’ Legal Team. What You Will Do: Organize, maintain, and update litigation case files. Conduct legal research on case law, statutes, regulations, and court rules. Draft pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery requests/responses, and affidavits. Manage the discovery process, including document collection, review, and production. Coordinate with opposing counsel on discovery and scheduling matters. Assemble trial notebooks, organize exhibits, and prepare litigation holds. Prepare for and summarize deposition transcripts. Track all litigation deadlines for filings, court appearances, and depositions. File documents electronically with state and federal courts. Communicate with clients, witnesses, court personnel, and opposing counsel. Maintain and organize case-related correspondence and evidence. Assist with due diligence on financial transactions and various litigation matters. Maintain electronic documents in the Legal department and/or the company’s document repository on tracker and in sharepoint. Perform other general administrative support duties, including faxing, photocopying, uploading and coordinating mailings. Assist in managing and organizing legal and corporate documentation & quality control for past and present files to ensure accuracy and completeness. Suggest and implement process improvement. Assist legal team with other duties and projects, as assigned. What You Will Need to be Successful: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience . years of professional experience as a paralegal or equivalent job experience. Litigation & Employment Experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Hands-on, self-starter who is disciplined and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting that requires a highly accurate and timely work product. Excellent listening, written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to learn ERP systems. Excels in a team-oriented work environment. Strong work ethic and accountability to deadlines. Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving business environment. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), Box and Docu. Sign. Excellent analytical and time-management skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently. Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality Possess ambition and an optimistic attitude.
