Synthesis, purification, and characterization of antibody drug conjugates (ADCs) and antibody oligonucleotide conjugates (AO - Cs) on mg to gram scale under minimal supervision. Development, optimization, and validation of conjugation protocols specifically for antibody oligonucleotide conjugates. Optimization and validation of formulation buffers for bioconjugates. Lead application and refinement of automated techniques for ADC/ AOC synthesis and purification. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to advance ADC/ AOC discovery programs from conceptualization to early development. Qualifications. Qualifications. B. S. degree with 7 years of experience or M. S. degree with 5 years’ experience in Biochemistry, Organic, Bioorganic or Analytical Chemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field. Demonstrated hands-on expertise in laboratory-scale protein purification using Hydrophobic Interaction Chromatography (HIC), Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC), Ion-Exchange (IEX), mixed-mode chromatography, and/or affinity chromatography. Experience with GE AKTA FPLC and Unicorn software is preferred. Hands-on experience with relevant analytical techniques such as HIC-HPLC, SEC, IEX, RP-HPLC, LCMS and capillary electrophoresis techniques (e.g., CE-SDS, ic. IEF). Strong experience in the discovery, design, synthesis, and purification of antibody drug conjugates (ADCs) and antibody oligonucleotide conjugates (AOC), including familiarity with associated chemistry and analytical methods. Proven ability to independently design experiments, troubleshoot technical issues, and deliver high-quality scientific output with attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-disciplinary team environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a strong record of collaboration and innovation. Preferred:Previous experience with linker chemistry and payload conjugation strategies specific to oligonucleotide therapeutics. Experience troubleshooting or optimizing the stability and delivery of antibody-oligonucleotide conjugates.
