Contribute to projects in one or more of the following areas: quantum computing, quantum sensors, and/or quantum communications. Communicate results to government sponsors via presentations and reports. Help shape MITRE Quantum Information Science and Technology Strategy. Coordinate to expand quantum technologies work program. Basic Qualifications:Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or a 6 years of related experience with a Master’s degree or 3 years of related experience with a PhD with relevant experience who can immediately contribute to the quantum work program; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience. Expertise in quantum information sciences and technologies. Demonstrated high-level research contributions. Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills. Ability to work on interdisciplinary topics and communicate well across scientific groups. Must be U.S. citizen in order to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Per the U.S. Government’s eligibility requirements, you must be a U. S Citizen to be considered for a security clearance. This position requires a minimum of 50% hybrid on-site. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s in Physics, Quantum, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline. Experience in one or more areas of quantum information such as quantum computing, quantum networking, and/or quantum sensing.
