OPTI STAFFING GROUP IS HIRING Opening: Administrative Assistant/ Receptionist Location: Anchorage, AK Pay: $23 DOE Position Overview Our client is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced office environment, enjoys administrative and accounting support functions, and takes pride in accuracy and consistency. The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers while providing essential support to daily office operations. Key Responsibilities Greet visitors and provide a professional and welcoming first impression Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails Perform high-volume data entry with a strong focus on accuracy Assist with Accounts Payable processing and invoice entry Support payroll functions and maintain payroll-related records Assist with job costing and project-related administrative tasks Scan, file, organize, and maintain electronic and physical records Schedule appointments and maintain calendars as needed Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and office correspondence Order and maintain office supplies and ensure organized workspaces Provide administrative support to management and office staff Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the role Qualifications Previous experience in an administrative, receptionist, accounting support, or office coordinator role Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new software systems Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Strong verbal and written communication skills Reliable, professional, and self-motivated Experience using Mac computers is preferred Experience with Great Plains Dynamics accounting software is highly preferred Familiarity with Accounts Payable, payroll processing, and job costing is preferred Current or previous HAZMAT certification is a plus Additional Requirements Must be able to pass a background check Drug screening is not required Due to scent sensitivities within the office, employees must refrain from wearing perfumes, colognes, scented lotions, or other heavily fragranced products while at work Why Join This Team?
