Propel Schools is seeking an Head Boys Junior Varsity Basketball Coach for the 26-27 season starting this winter: Propel Andrew Street High School/ Propel Braddock Hills High School Successful candidates will have: Prior Varsity or Junior Varsity coaching experience Preferred candidates will have experience as a head coach or assistant coach, playing experience, as well as the demonstrated ability to build a successful program starting at the junior varsity level Responsibility for supporting the Junior Varsity program with the athletic director and other coaching staff Experience implementing off-season programs in accordance with WPIAL/ PIAA regulations. Willingness and ability to attend all required PIAA preseason coaching meetings and mandatory coaching certification/trainings in compliance with PIAA regulations. High level of personal organization and planning Strong communication and relationship building skills Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development A commitment to the Propel Habits Season Information: The 2026-2027 Boys Junior Varsity Basketball Season is scheduled to in November and is anticipated to conclude in February, although the season may end earlier/later depending on if the team participates in postseason. This position includes a seasonal stipend of $6,000. Please note that the stipend will be prorated for coaches who begin after the official start of the season.
