Performs general receptionist/administrative functions to support the Workforce Development department and the agency's programs and mission. This position will provide general information to visitors, direct clients and participants to access programs and services. Responsibilities. Primary Responsibilities: - Answer phones in a professional manner and route calls appropriately. - Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately. - Understand agency programs to provide adequate direction and assistance to community members seeking services. - Obtain and understand job seeker information to support Good. Temps Staffing Solutions. - Support Goodwill staff and visitors with appointments and needs. - Responsible for processing incoming mail; time stamp, distribute, and maintain records of postage expense. - Responsible for procuring and distributing agency first aid supplies. - Responsible for routine business card orders and name placards for new and existing Goodwill staff. - Maintain appointments and manage scheduling logistics for agency vehicles. - Compose and/or prepare routine correspondence and reports. - Follow procedures for opening and closing the Headquarters location. - Enforce proper sign-in and sign-out procedures. Other Responsibilities: - Attend appropriate Workforce Development meetings to ensure understanding of programs and departmental operations. - Perform duties of a Program Assistant to include job coaching, resume assistance, and program administration. - Other duties assigned by Program Manager or Career Center Manager. Technical Skills - Microsoft Windows: User - Microsoft Office Suite: User - Case Management Software: User. Education - GED/diploma preferred. Experience - 2 year's of experience in General Office Administration preferred. Certifications/ Licenses - Valid driver's license and insurance required. Physical Requirements - Mobility: Required to stand; frequently walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl. - Dexterity: Requires hands to manipulate, feel, reach, lift and/or carry. - Sensory: Able to see objects, colors at close range or distance, peripheral, and depth vision, communicate orally with normal hearing decibel. - Lifting: Light work (lifts no more than 20 lbs. at a time, with frequent lifting/carrying of 10 lbs.) - Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
