Leads and executes high-volume recruitment efforts across assigned program areas, ensuring staffing targets are met within established timelines. Serves as a liaison to hiring managers to ensure positions are posted timely, candidate pipelines remain active, and hiring processes move efficiently from requisition to onboarding. Develops and maintains diverse candidate pipelines through community partnerships, grassroots outreach, college and university engagement, workforce development programs, and employee referral initiatives. Represents the YMCA at job fairs, hiring events, community gatherings, and recruitment presentations to increase brand visibility and attract qualified candidates. Sources active and passive candidates using social media platforms, job boards, networking strategies, and direct outreach; follows up with referrals and passive prospects to cultivate long-term talent pools. Ensures recruitment activities comply with organizational policies, state licensing requirements, background screening standards, and applicable employment regulations; maintains accurate documentation within the ATS. Assists in the administration and optimization of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including job postings, candidate communication, workflow management, reporting, and data integrity. Serves as a point of contact for applicants throughout the recruitment process, responding to inquiries, troubleshooting application or system issues, and ensuring timely and professional communication in alignment with People and Culture standards. Assists other People and Culture team members with responsibilities and projects as assigned. Adheres to policies related to boundaries with youth. Participates in required abuse risk management training. Reports suspicious and inappropriate behaviors. Follows mandated abuse reporting requirements. Adheres to job-specific abuse risk management responsibilities. Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and viewpoints from all social and economic segments of the organization and community. QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree and three (3) to five (5) years of Human Resources experience, or similar combination of education and experience. Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred. Current knowledge and understanding of regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments, and applicable laws regarding human resources. Experience using MS Word, Excel, Kronos (or similar HRIS), social networking for business purposes Passionate belief in the Ys cause of nurturing the potential of all youth, supporting healthy living for all people and finding ways to help and support our neighbors.
