Maintain and monitor optimal par levels for all clinical supplies, stock, and non-stock items, including sterile supplies and general store items. Place, track, and receive outside supply orders, ensuring accuracy of shipments. Work closely with the Nurse Manager and Physicians to identify medical equipment needs and ensure availability. Assist in monitoring operational expenses, identifying potential overspending, and providing input into future capital purchases. Perform computer order entry/retrieval, track inventory changes, and maintain accurate inventory records within the designated hospital management system. Ensure proper stock rotation to prevent expiration and maintain clean, organized supply areas. Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; ability to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist. Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight. Ability to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination, including regular use of a computer keyboard. Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent required. Prior medical experience required, specifically in a role involving the identification of medical equipment and supplies. Proficiency in computer order entry/retrieval; strong organizational and communication skills. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
