Pay Range: $29.14/hr – $33.04/hr (dependent on experience)Job Description. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging exams using specialized equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and care. You will collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and care teams to deliver accurate, high-quality imaging while providing excellent patient care. This role is ideal for new graduates who are eager to build clinical experience in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Essential Functions. Maintain ARRT or modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions. Ensure proper patient identification, verify orders, and prepare patients for exams. Perform imaging exams according to department protocols; review images for quality, clarity, and accuracy. Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment. Complete studies within acceptable timeframes without compromising patient care or quality. Assist and instruct students and other Radiology Technologists in exam procedures, positioning, and equipment use. Provide patient education, ensure comfort, and address questions or concerns. Follow infection control standards and sterile technique practices. Operate imaging equipment and related systems to ensure optimal image quality. Accurately document patient information, procedures, and any adverse reactions. Follow protocols related to medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, quality control programs, and reporting equipment failures. Skills. Knowledge of anatomy.
