Corporate Accounting & Financial Reporting. Lead the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements across multiple entities Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Oversee the preparation and review of journal entries, including accruals and complex adjustments Ensure the integrity of financial data, maintaining accurate accounting records and supporting documentation Research, evaluate, and resolve complex accounting issues in accordance with U.S. GAAP Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and accuracy in financial reporting Drive efficiencies, standardization, and continuous improvement in close and consolidation processes Support the development and implementation of corporate accounting policies and best practices Reconciliation & Audit Support. Oversee account reconciliations, including detailed balance sheet reviews and variance analysis Ensure timely identification and resolution of discrepancies and unusual items Review audit schedules and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external auditors, supporting financial and compliance audits ERP Systems & Financial Data Management. Oversee the use of ERP systems, including SAP and BPC, to ensure accurate financial reporting Lead system enhancements, automation initiatives, and process standardization efforts Ensure data integrity across financial systems and reporting tools Leadership & Additional Responsibilities. Typically requires a Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline and eleven or more years of progressively complex experience in finance/accounting. Must have experience in a commercial or government contractor environment. Equivalent experience may be substituted in lieu of education. Prior experience in corporate accounting, consolidations, and financial reporting required Experience in defense, aerospace, or government contracting environment is preferred Master’s degree and/or CPA certification preferred Skills and Abilities. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements Demonstrated experience managing financial close and consolidation processes Proven ability to lead while remaining hands-on and detail-oriented Advanced proficiency in ERP systems; SAP experience preferred Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across all levels Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong leadership, team development, and project management capabilities Customer service mindset with a focus on continuous improvement Additional Requirements.
