Position Summary As a Patient Transporter, you’ll play a vital role in the patient experience—ensuring safe, timely, and compassionate transport throughout the hospital. You’ll work both independently and as part of a team to move patients, equipment, and supplies while maintaining a clean and safe environment. ?? Key Responsibilities ?? Safely transport patients throughout the hospital ??? Assist patients on/off beds, stretchers, and wheelchairs ?? Clean and disinfect transport equipment before & after use ?? Transport charts, lab specimens, and medications (non-controlled) ?? Communicate effectively with nurses and care teams ?? Meet productivity and service standards ?? Maintain safety standards and proper equipment storage ?? Use Epic Transport Dispatch system efficiently ?? Follow HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines ?? Deliver excellent customer service to patients and staff ?? What We’re Looking For Strong customer service skills ?? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Team player with a positive, can-do attitude Basic computer skills (Epic, Outlook, etc.) Ability to communicate clearly and professionally ?? Requirements ?? Basic reading, writing, and communication skills ?? Ability to use hospital systems and technology ?? BLS Certification (within 90 days of hire) ?? Preferred Experience 6 months of customer service OR 6 months of volunteer experience ??
