Graduate Programs Clinical and Marketing Coordinator

Responsible for the coordination and management of graduate student clinical, residency, and project experiences while working with the graduate programs’ director and faculty. Strong communication and organization skills are required. Works directly with preceptors and the community to promote a positive image and expands the external public’s perception of the University and ATDSON and strengthen community relationships. Clinical Coordination: (75%) Works closely with the Graduate team on orientation processes for clinical/residency experience requirements and policies. Oversees the maintenance of all necessary documents and databases related to clinical/residency and project experiences, including clinical evaluations, clinical rotation schedules, student progress and facility paperwork, preceptor agreements, and affiliation agreements Coordinate’s student orientation expectations with clinical/residency agencies. Facilitates clinical and residency site placement with appropriate student coordinators, providers, and/or facility management. Evaluates clinical/residency sites using student and faculty input Reports to Program Director on an ongoing basis regarding student/staff/faculty issues. Attends advisory council meetings as requested. Provides an annual summary report of all Graduate clinical coordination activities. Communication: Maintains communication with faculty regarding all program changes or updates. Is available by email/phone to assist in any clinical/residency concerns. Maintains consistent communication with clinical/residency site coordinators and providers with feedback, changes and concerns Maintains consistent communication with students regarding scheduling, clinical site expectations, and professionalism. Marketing: (25%) Collaborates in the development of marketing communication tools including the use of digital marketing and social media in support of the Annie Taylor Dee School of Nursing (ATDSN) strategic plan for graduate programs. Acts as a liaison for the WSU Nursing Program in the development and strengthening of community relationships. Communication:Works directly with preceptors and the community to promote a positive image and expands the external public’s perception of the University and ATDSON. Required Qualifications Required: Baccalaureate Degree 2 years of related experience Preferred Qualifications Preferred: Baccalaureate degree with emphasis in marketing, communications, or health sciences. Previous professional employment in communications, public relations, advertising, health care employee, print and electronic social media and audience development. Recruiting experience.
