We are seeking a well-rounded Technician to support both diesel truck service and trailer repair operations in a busy, team-oriented shop. This position offers a strong mix of mechanical work and light fabrication, providing consistent variety and steady workload. This role is divided between two shop functions, truck service and trailer repair. Technicians will handle routine diesel maintenance and component replacement on the truck side, while also completing structural and mechanical trailer repairs, including light welding and body work. First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00 am to 04:00 pm)Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on diesel trucks. Replace major components, including full engine swaps. Complete trailer repairs, including brakes, tires, and suspension work. Perform light welding and structural repairs. Repair and replace sheet metal on box trucks. Assist with basic bus and fleet equipment repairs. Maintain a clean and safe work area while meeting productivity goals. Diesel and Trailer Tech Qualifications:Prior experience with diesel trucks, trailers, or both. Basic mechanical knowledge (P - Ms, brakes, tires, repairs)Ability to perform or learn light welding and fabrication. Experience with hand and power tools. Strong work ethic and reliability. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work overtime as needed. Applicant may be subject to a background check.
