This event will prioritize hiring for flex and overnight officers, for our sites in the Salem area. Sunstates Security is hosting a Hiring Event for Full Time, Part Time, Flex Security Officers on June 16th, 10:00 AM- 5:00 PM. Various days and shifts are available with a pay rate of $22.90-$24.90/hr, with weekly pay. Pay will be discussed at the event. Come prepared to interview with our hiring managers, qualified candidates may be offered a position on the spot so come prepared with your valid Guard card please. These positions require previous security experience and an active Guard card. Location of event: 10260 SW Greenburg Road, Portland, OR 97223 Requirements: Valid Oregon DPSST security license (current CPR certification is a plus). Must have reliable transportation. Good customer service and communication skills. Must have open availability to work weekends and holidays and in all weather conditions. Must be comfortable standing and/or walking for extended periods (75% of the shift). A working knowledge of computer systems; experience with access control systems, wireless tag scanning and Microsoft Office software is a plus. If applying for a driving position, must be over 21 years of age and possess a clean driving record. Flex Officer expectations:The Flex Officer position is crucial to our company’s operational and financial success. The flex officer provides trained, competent support by working shifts which become open due to illness, call-offs, weather, vacation, or other causes. This enables Sunstates to provide continual, uninterrupted service to our customers, while also protecting the health and work balance of our personnel. A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
