WORK ENVIRONMENT \r\n\r\n. This role operates in a professional laboratory and office environment; business casual/casual attire is required. This role requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic and/ or caustic chemicals such as Sodium Hydroxide, Hydrochloric Acid, Acetonitrile, Methanol, and other chemical solutions necessary in analytical chemistry. As a result, the employee may be required to wear a respirator or appropriate PPE for certain tasks within the laboratory to ensure their safety and protection. In the event a respirator is required, this will be provided by the company at no expense to the employee. In addition, any medical expenses for respirator fit testing will be covered by the employer. \r\n\r\n. PHYSICAL DEMANDS \r\n\r\n. Associate Degree (AA/ AS) in Chemistry and 2 - 4 yrs experience \r\n\t. Bachelor's degree (BA/ BS) in Chemistry or related scientific field w/ 1-2 yrs experience \r\n\t. Wet Chemistry techniques\r\n\t. Experience with HPLC or related chromatography experience\r\n\t. Raw material testing\r\n\r\n\r\n. Other Skills:\r\n\r\n\r\n\t. Keep up with current technology\r\n\t.
