As a Security Officer Front Desk Concierge in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/ Media/ Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Officer in a tech, media, and telecom location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. Mon 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM - Tue 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM - Wed 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM - Thur 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM - Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the front desk within a technology-focused location. Monitor access to the lobby and reception area, verify identification and visitor information, issue visitor credentials, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries according to site protocols. Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed. Support front desk operations by answering phones, providing directions, maintaining visitor logs, and reporting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy-related issues. Help to deter unauthorized access by observing activity at entry points, confirming authorization for access requests, and following established escalation procedures when needed. Minimum Requirements:Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
