The Seasonal Trainer is assigned to the Learning Department and will hold responsibilities specific to that area. This position will support the Learning Department. The Seasonal Trainer is responsible for the execution of Behind the Smile, a new Tier 1 new hire onboarding program within NACF, with a focus on providing a welcoming,exciting, and engaging new hire experience. The Seasonal Trainer plays a key role indriving the success of the onboarding program by supporting new hires in acclimatingto their roles and feeling connected to Amazon culture. The Seasonal Trainer alsoworks with operations managers, area managers, production assistants and associatesto constantly improves the long-term capabilities of the area to which they areassigned. To succeed, the Seasonal Trainer will need to communicate effectively, executetactically, and collaborate across many teams, levels, and situations. In addition, andideal candidate for this role will possess:-Excellent communication skills Comfortable talking in front of a group as well as one-on-one with anindividual Able to give and receive feedback effectively Can drive understanding (i.e. using visual aids, able to recognize when a groupor individual is lost and needs more attention)-Ability to follow up Always meets time commitments and deadlines, is goal oriented Checks and tests for understanding Gives insight to area managers-Proven people skills Works hard for the success of others, constantly remains customer obsessed Demonstrates a positive can do demeanor and has fun and gains energyfrom working with others Is an active listener-Is a technical expert Demonstrated ability to consistently function at 100% of expectations Understands upstream and downstream variances Is able to use resources to expand knowledge and can answer questions. Key job responsibilities. Overall responsibilities will include the following functions: Plan, facilitate, and execute logistics for FC courses drawing participants from around the globe. Coordinate, schedule, and facilitate training-related programs. Assure trainees are given accurate and useful information on an ongoing basis, including frequent verbal feedback. Develop and track effectiveness of training programs, including orientation. Using feedback, continuously strive for improved training programs and processes. Actively seek ongoing skill development (i.e., participating and conducting skill classes, cross-training, etc.). Document feedback results to help the learning department identify strengths as well as area of improvement. Assess development needs for individuals and groups. Fully understand workflow and daily production goals. Problem solving responsibilities: react quickly and productively, serving as a resource for specific problems and undertaking the appropriate steps to resolve. Balance and prioritize multiple tasks. Maintain a positive attitude and presence on the floor. Basic Qualifications- Proficiency in computer usage, email, MS Office Suite- Understanding of fulfillment center processes and flow- Strong verbal and written communication skills- Proven ability to work with minimal direct supervision and to prioritize and- manage time effectively in a dynamic and often ambiguous environment- Ability to prioritize, manage and complete projects with tight deadlines- Ability to give and receive feedback effectively. Preferred Qualifications- Experience delivering training/information to peers, hourly associates, and senior management, both individually and in groups- Experience delivering messages related to performance.
