As a Strategic Planner, you won’t just write documents — you’ll help shape the future of how the Army thinks about enterprise IT, data, architecture, and digital modernization. This is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, communication, and mission impact. In this position, you will translate complex technical, policy, and modernization initiatives into powerful, polished communications built for senior leaders who make decisions that influence the entire enterprise. Your work will drive clarity around priorities, accelerate adoption of digital-reform efforts, and help leadership communicate vision and intent across a diverse and distributed force. You Have: 10 years of experience supporting strategic planning, policy development, governance, or enterprise IT initiatives within Do. W or federal organizations 10 years of experience analyzing directives, legislation, or enterprise IT guidance and translating them into actionable recommendations 5 years of experience developing executive-level communications, summaries, and briefing materials. Experience working with senior-level stakeholders and coordinating across teams or mission partners. Ability to conduct research, synthesize findings, and drive strategic integration. TS/ SCI clearance. Master’s degree. Nice If You Have:Experience supporting the Army National Guard, NGB, Army CIO/ G-6, or similar Do. W IT organizations. Experience in IT governance, portfolio management, strategic planning, or policy analysis. Experience with knowledge-management tools, enterprise collaboration platforms, and SharePoint and Guard knowledge environments. Experience leading or supporting enterprise-wide initiatives involving multiple stakeholders. Ability to lead small teams, working groups, or project-level efforts. Possession of strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
