Job Duties for Material Handler | General Labor position:Responsible for coordinating all activities required to stage manufacturing orders in support of production requirements. Verify the accuracy of the orders by comparing information on requisitions, invoices, and shipping notices to material received or issued. Mark identifying information on material. Move material to and from storage areas as well as the production lines using ground transportation equipment. Use basic math skills to prepare material procurement requests via MAC-PAC software as well as the manual requisition forms. Maintain a clean and neat warehouse and staging area. Follow Employee Handbook policies and procedures and uphold organizational values. Report to supervision conditions or practices that are unsafe. Perform other duties as assigned Job Requirements for Material Handler | General Labor position:Minimum of 3 months related work experience. High School Diploma or Equivalent. Ability to use basic hand tools. Basic math and reading skills. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand for duration of shift.
