As a Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for safety performance monitoring and improvement initiatives with strategic vendors assigned under the initiation systems (IS) Category. You will lead the continuous development, implementation, and alignment of category strategies and supplier network capabilities both globally and regionally for assigned commodities and spend categories. Other duties include:Responsible for the identification and delivery of cost savings and the integration of process improvement initiatives into business operations. Responsible for implementation of Trade Working Capital (TWC) improvement initiatives, in both inventory and payment terms. Support the Sourcing Function with initiatives, deliberate negotiations, and consistent internal communications. Contract drafting, negotiation, approval, execution, and implementation in SAP. Responsible for the S 2 P (Source to Pay) process implementation. Develop baseline and perform opportunity analysis to identify and critically assess projects that will deliver significant cost savings and value improvement. Identify, develop, and foster strategic business relationships to create opportunities and gain a comprehensive understanding of business requirements. Maintain and provide a current understanding of industry best practices and technology trends to team members and business partners and incorporate these best practices into business processes where appropriate. Direct the development and negotiation of complex agreements with suppliers ensuring that key program specifications and functional objectives are met. Manage governance and control programs to ensure business continuity, protect company assets, and comply with corporate and regulatory policies. Ensure organizational financial goals are met, including budget and savings What We're Looking For:Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance or Engineering, ideally with a manufacturing or chemicals focus. MBA, Procurement or Finance Specialization preferred . years’ experience in Contract and Supplier Management, Project management and/or Strategic Sourcing in a large complex organization, ideally with a manufacturing focus. Experience in leading cross functional teams, often spanning several geographical locations. Understanding of contract law to ensure consistent compliance. Ability to manage and enhance supplier relationships, performance, and development programs. Clear understanding of relevant supply markets. Understanding of domestic and international freight, air and ocean, and Incoterms. Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
