Liberty Healthcare is now hiring for a full-time Options Counselor position. As an Options Counselor, you will actively contribute to a statewide Aging and Disability Resource Center system which supports older individuals and people who are living with disabilities. Service objectives include: Functioning as the "go to" resource for individuals who are seeking information on long term care and other community-based services and supports Providing person-centered planning to individuals in a way that supports their informed decision making and ability to secure services which will enable them to live as independently as possible Your day-to-day responsibilities as an Options Counselor will involve: Fielding a high volume of phone calls and email requests Talking with individuals and their families about their needs Providing information and answering questions Connecting people with appropriate services and supports Traveling throughout the region to meet with individuals in-person Documenting interactions, services, and relevant information in computer systems This is a hybrid position which will require you to work in Liberty Healthcare's office in Lawrence three days each week and allow you to work from your home office two days a week (reliable home internet is a must). While the role is based out of the Lawrence office, flexibility may be considered based on candidate qualifications, location, and business needs.
