Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Works with Proposals Director and Business Development Team to create marketing materials that depict BSNC's diverse capabilities and contracting options as well as for targeted agency purposes. - Reviews solicitation documentation and participates in development of proposals by conceptualizing purposeful graphics. - Develops graphics for proposals, to include charts and covers. - Develops promotional materials for the company's many GSA Schedules/ Vehicles. - Produces trade show graphics, advertisements, fact sheets, press release graphics, and other promotional materials. - Develops responses to Sources Soughts and Requests for Information. - Participates in proposal reviews to ensure the quality and accuracy of all submissions. - Works with other proposal staff as a team, assisting in a supporting role on projects assigned to others when needed. - Other duties as assigned. Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications - Education Requirements: o BA/ BS in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field. - Level of Experience Requirements: o At least 5 years of experience supporting proposal efforts in a large-proposal Government contracting environment as a Marketing/ Graphics Specialist. - Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, and practices associated with proposal development in a Government contracting environment. - Graphic design expertise. - Technical writing ability a plus. - Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills as well as excellent oral, written communication, and time management skills. - Must be analytical with attention to detail, task-oriented, self-motivated and have the inherent ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines and work as a team member. - Must be proficient with Desktop Publishing/graphics programs and MS Office Suite Programs: Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Visio; and have a working knowledge of Excel and Project. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics - Demonstrates exceptional written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with Business Development Team Members and Senior Management. - Ability to review or check the work products of others to ensure conformance to standards. Preferred - N/ A Supervisory Responsibilities - This position will not have supervisory responsibilities. DOT Covered/ Safety-Sensitive Role Requirements - This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation "safety-sensitive" functions.
