Follow all steps for opening, using, and closing the register, including keeping it locked when not in use. Greet every customer, help them with questions, and tell them about sales or promotions. Watch for shoplifting or damage in the store and let a manager know if you see anything suspicious. Keep shelves neat and stocked, and help with rotating items based on color or date. Help with cleaning and other tasks around the store as assigned.
