Zachry Construction Corporation is currently recruiting certified Crane Operators with experience operating Hydraulic Lattice Boom Crawlers as well as Rubber Tire Rough Terrain Pickers. This position requires the ability to work both day and night shifts as needed. Highway, road, and bridge experience is required. What You’ll Do Inspect and compare load weights with lifting capacity and load charts to ensure safe operation and prevent overload. Clean, lubricate, and maintain crane mechanisms and components, including pulleys and cables. Follow all required company and general safety rules, policies, and guidelines. Perform daily inspections of equipment and report any needed repairs. Work with various crews on job sites and communicate safely using hand signals. Perform general labor duties as needed. Perform tasks that may require long periods of sitting, walking, and standing. Work rotating day and night shifts as required by project needs. What We’re Looking For Minimum 5 years of experience lifting and placing concrete by bucket, prefabricated bridge beams, precast bridge deck panels, rebar, concrete pipe, and metal forming components. NCCCO or NCCER certification required. Ability to inspect cranes and recommend appropriate actions to maintain safe and proper working condition. Knowledge and understanding of OSHA requirements for crane operation, including daily inspection logs, safe hoisting practices, and correct use of attachments. Effective communication skills and the ability to coordinate safely with ground personnel. Dependable, self-motivated, and task-oriented with a strong commitment to safety. Physical ability to perform assigned crane-related tasks, including prolonged sitting, walking, standing, and bending. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds or more as needed.
